The Final Count Down

I cannot believe that I’m writing my final blog post. I am honestly very emotional writing it. When I started this program I had no idea how hard it was going to be. I was warned by many different people but you never understand how tough something can be until it’s you. Throughout each Mod I learned so many important lessons that made me a better person and developer month by month. I would say that some of my biggest hurdles were imposter syndrome, not thinking I was a good developer, and not believing in myself. I am not a left-brain person at all naturally. Changing my mindset in terms of the program especially when it came to the rails review was a big shift for me. All in all, I would say the biggest thing I learned from this program is not only how to code in 2 different languages front end, backend, and 3 different frameworks but I would say that it was that I can genuinely do anything I put my mind to and with enough perseverance and persistence anything is possible. My advice to someone coming into the program would be to do their research and figure out if this is really for them and if they decide it is then they should study coding a bit before joining. I would also say that they should set their mind and goals that no matter what happens they will stick it through and get through this. On day one the advice I would give myself is exactly the same! To go back and study coding a bit more first before joining.
